The Jewish Community of Cyprus has volunteered to help Ukrainian families

The Jewish Community of Cyprus has volunteered to help as many Ukrainian families as possible regardless of their origin.

Today we welcomed 70 Ukrainian families who escaped the war zone and entered the safe space of Cyprus. These women, children and men will arrive with very little apart from personal documents and some clothing.

Rabbi Arie Zeev Raskin, the Chief Rabbi of Cyprus welcomed each refugee arriving in Larnaca. “Now is the time to show our support, love and humanity to the civilians displaced because of this war”.

The families will be hosted by the Jewish community of Cyprus and its supporters. Today more than ever, they need your support. Now is the time to act and help these people.

Let us show our humanity by supporting these displaced refugees.
