“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine communicates the following. There are and never were any Russian nuclear experts at the Rivne NPP. Four armed Russian citizens were escorting a cargo of nuclear fuel elements that arrived at the nuclear power plant before February 24, 2022. From the moment the cargo arrived, these individuals provided security for it until it was unloaded in accordance with the terms of the contract. After the cargo was handed over to the Ukrainian side on March 23, the disarmed Russian citizens left the territory of Rivne NPP.”

Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine from 4 a.m. on February 24 to 24:00 midnight on March 23, 1,035 Ukrainian civilians have been killed, and another 1,650 have been injured. This is reported by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR).

The dead include 214 men, 160 women, 14 girls, 28 boys, and another 571 adults and 48 children, whose sex is yet unknown. The injured include 181 men, 140 women, 28 girls, 23 boys, and another 1,211 adults and 67 children, whose sex is yet unknown.

Most people were killed by explosive weapons – heavy artillery, multiple rocket launchers, rockets, and airstrikes.

In Kharkiv, Russian troops fired multiple rocket launchers at the city’s polyclinic in the city’s Osnovyansky district, where a humanitarian aid center is located. Three people were injured due to the shelling, and four more were killedsaid the Kharkiv regional police.

Russian airstrike on Mariupol Drama Theatre killed about 300 people, the Mariupol City Council reported, citing eyewitnesses.

Russian occupation forces are destroying an average of two religious buildings a day in Ukraine. According to the Ukrainian State Service for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience, at least 59 buildings of spiritual significance in at least 8 regions of Ukraine have already been damaged.
