Explosions and fires occurred in Vinnytsa in the morning as a result of a Russian missile attack on the city center, 8 dead and 6 wounded are known. There was a hit of missiles in the center area, smoke rises over the city.
The head of the Vinnytsia region, Sergei Borzov, confirmed at 11:20: «We have an arrival in Vinnytsa. There are dead and wounded. The number is being specified. 4 missiles over the region were shot down by air defense forces»
The head of the National Police of Ukraine, Igor Klymenko, announced preliminary information: «3 Russian missiles hit a building with office space. The House of Officers and nearby residential buildings were also damaged by the attacks.»
Now it is known about 6 wounded and 8 dead, including a small child.
A fire broke out at the site of impacts, the fire spread to the parking lot. There are about 50 cars on fire. Rescuers are working to put out the fire. Klymenko sent a specialized investigative-operational group of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police and a forensic laboratory to Vinnнtsa.
President Volodymyr Zelensky also reacted to the rocket attacks on Vinnнtsa and showed a video of the aftermath.
