Russia Blows Up Dams and Mines Chemical Plants, Provoking an Environmental Disaster

Russia has created the conditions for a complex environmental disaster, the consequences of which will affect not only Ukraine, but also Europe. The mined Titan Chemical Plant in Armyansk is another stage of Russian blackmail, which also manifests itself in the shelling of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. The explosion of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant has proved Russia’s terrorist nature and indicated that not a single country in Europe can feel safe while power is in the hands of Putin in Russia.

More than 600 thousand square kilometers of Ukrainian territory were flooded after the largest terrorist attack in Europe in recent decades. Dozens of settlements and fertile arable land, orchards, and farms are under water, as a result of undermining the dam of the Kakhovka Reservoir. In the disaster zone, there is a risk of botulism and anthrax due to the erosion of cattle burial sites and getting into the water of sewage. This crime has all the characteristics of a deliberate ecocide committed by Russia in order to cause maximum damage to Ukraine.

Blowing up the Kakhovka HPP and mining the Titan Chemical Plant is a threat to Ukraine, the countries of the Black Sea region and the EU countries that have access to the Black Sea. The waters of the Kakhovka Reservoir desalinated the Black Sea, which is fraught with mass death of fish and subsequent environmental disaster. In case of a deliberate explosion of the Crimean Titan, the countries neighboring Ukraine will be in the zone of chemical contamination. Russia has caused a complex environmental disaster, the danger of which can hardly be overestimated.

Russian terrorist attacks proved that Putin is not interested in the well-being of the inhabitants of the occupied territories. Russia has brought devastation and destruction, its army destroy everything that can’t control. Unable to contain the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russians deliberately blow up dams in the territory of the occupied regions of Ukraine, provoking local floods. Russia must be recognized as a terrorist state and receive new sanctions. The main task for the entire civilized world is to stop Putin.
