My name is Pavel Bondar.
I was born into a Ukrainian family (originally from Kiev), which has lived in Cyprus for many years.
I am 18 years old and I have autism.
I face some challenges in my everyday life and require support during learning process and work.
I really love to draw. I get inspired by music and by the paintings of great masters like Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, Rubens, Monet,
Van Gogh, Matisse and music! Each artwork is a new emotional and artistic experience. Story. Journey to oneself. Mood.
I love the texture of the paints and the play of color on the canvas.
I like to shade
pastels and try new things.
I can express my feelings
and emotions through art.
This is why the title of my second personal art exhibition is called “Express your Feelings”.
I am fascinated by the process of creating a new painting. I feel great joy when the work is completed.
As a child, I started doing art as therapy, then I painted to music. This is how the series of works were born. under the patronage of therapist Marina Ioannou, which depict
various famous melodies.
My first exhibition was dedicated to “Expression
musical colors.” It was an unforgettable experience.
This year I dove deeper into art and began to draw even more. As a result, a series of portraits and still lifes appeared. And although I still need help,
I still like it when it results in good work.
Also a new experience for me was a trial year of study at
Fresh Art College
together with other students.
Now art is an integral part of my life. I am grateful
to my teachers Katerina Fukara, Maxim Anferov and Irene Stylianou —
for their constant support and for our
fruitful collaboration.
