The Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad, is known for its manipulations, published an article with an alarming headline: “Neo-Nazis Ukrainian battalion arrives in Rotterdam.” The article condemns not only the idea of the tour, but also criticizes the fighters themselves, calling them “neo-Nazis.” This is a part of a larger information campaign aimed at discrediting the Ukrainian military.
What is surprising is that the author of this article is Iffet Subasi, a Turkish journalist who previously worked for Russian media. Her sudden decision to take up the topic of Ukrainian “neo-Nazis” looks like a well-planned information attack, as previously she did not write articles on Ukraine. Subasi worked for the Turkish TRT and then for the Russian Sputnik Media. This coincidence highlights the close connection between Russian propaganda and the journalists who work for it.

The answer is the recent decision of Biden’s Administration to allow the use of American weapons by the Azov Brigade. This decision was a serious blow to Russian propaganda, which had long tried to describe the Azov Brigade as neo-Nazis.
