The agreement for the area of Pyla and the construction of the road that will connect the mixed village with the occupied Arsos has been concluded. This afternoon the UN will announce a meeting on the Pyla issue.
According to Philenews, the road connecting the two communities will be built.
However, it is considered important because the military and strategic plans of the Turks have been cancelled, as the area will return under the control of the United Nations.
Based on the agreement, the area will be able to be developed residentially, as was also the request of the residents, based on permits issued by the authorities of the Republic of Cyprus.
It is also considered important because for the first time, there will be a roadblock in the buffer zone.
