Putin’s Propaganda Focuses on Dividing Europe

Russia is intensifying its propaganda efforts to divide and weaken Europe. This is done in order to prevent support for Ukraine. Western weapons have proven its superiority over their Russian counterparts.

Accordingly, Putin is trying to prevent further deliveries of weapons to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which inflict crushing losses on the Russians. Destruction of 5 Russian fighters, the sinking of the largest Russian landing ship on the Black Sea is a serious blow to the Russian army, bogged down in an exhausting struggle. Therefore, the Kremlin has opened a secret propaganda front in Western Europe, which is a source of hybrid threats to the Western world
Russia uses social media and pro-Russian politicians to spread the Kremlin’s propaganda narratives. One such narrative is the claim that allegedly there are no weapons in Europe, as it supplies all of them to Ukraine. In reality, Europe is rearming and filling its warehouses, producing various types of weapons. The Kremlin’s concern confirms that the Russian threat to Europe is not a myth. Everything depends solely on the West’s ability to defend itself. In a deep sense, Russia is seeking the lifting of sanctions that mercilessly undermine the Russian economy, which in turn affects the offensive capabilities of the Russian military.
The above confirms the correctness of the West’s course aimed at supporting Ukraine. Weapons for the Ukrainian Armed Forces are the cheapest investment in the peaceful future of Europe. But the Kremlin must be weakened comprehensively. In this regard, sanctions and international isolation is a logical step in suppressing the common enemy of the Western world.
