Putin starts new phase of war: genocide of Ukrainians, destruction of infrastructure

Putin uses terrorism as a tool of war. On October 10, 2022, Russia launched missile strikes on dozens of Ukraine’s critical infrastructure facilities. This is a genocide tactic against civilians that the entire civilized world must put to an end.

On October 10, Russia launched a massive missile attack on almost all regions of Ukraine, including its capital, Kyiv: officially, eight people were killed. Absolutely all the blows were inflicted on civilian infrastructure: a number of cities were left without electricity and hot water supply. This is the most unprecedented missile attack throughout the war. Earlier, the Russian leadership has officially stated that it will carry out such strikes in order to completely destroy Ukraine’s critical infrastructure. In their opinion, this will affect the defense capability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In other words, Russia is officially using terrorism as a tool of war against the backdrop of a systemic decline in the Russian military capacity. Putin is not able to defeat Ukraine on a battlefield, so he avenges his army’s failures by killing civilians in the rear. Dozens of cities were hit by missiles, and the death toll already amounts to dozens. Russia’s missile potential remains significant as its military industry works 24/7 for one purpose only – to commit the genocide of Ukrainians and destroy Ukraine as an independent state. Russia does not reckon with anything and is trying to bring the entire civilized world to its knees. Putin surpassed Hitler in his crimes: he adopted Nazi propaganda and tactics of genocide of entire nations. Russia will repeat this tactic because it cannot win on the battlefield. With the onset of cold weather, missile strikes will become more frequent as Putin seeks to deprive Ukrainians of heating, power, gas, and water supplies. He wants to make the life of Ukrainians simply unbearable, seeking to destroy them as a nation.

The world must wake up and react in order for the genocide of Ukrainians to stop. Putin has already gone too far and will not stop. An unprecedented set of actions must be taken so that Russia is completely overwhelmed: economically, politically, it has become a pariah for most countries. It has also been isolated in the cultural and information spaces. What Russia is doing in Ukraine is more than crimes against humanity, which have already surpassed the crimes of Nazi Germany in their scope.

Ukraine needs accelerated deliveries of the necessary weapons, in particular long-range air defense systems, to repel missile attacks. This is a matter of saving the lives of thousands of Ukrainians. Russia must be recognized as a terrorist state by all countries of the civilized world because cooperating with Putin is a crime. Ukraine can and must save the world from the unprecedented threat posed by the greatest neo-Nazi country of the 21st century by taking concrete action and providing the necessary weapons. It is an investment in the civilizational survival of the Western world.
