A Massive Missile Attack on Ukraine Is Another Evidence of Putin’s “Desire” to Negotiate. Prompt Delivery of the Necessary Weapons Will Protect Ukraine from Russian Terror and Force the Aggressor to End the War

Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack from various directions in all regions of Ukraine in the early morning on December 29. A total of 69 rockets were fired. And all this during Christmas holidays around the world.

Russia is launching large-scale missile attacks on Ukrainian critical infrastructure in order to force Ukraine to negotiations. In Moscow, they understand that they are powerless on the battlefield.

Statements by Russian high-ranking officials about openness to negotiations are prolonging the time they need to change the situation at the front in their favor. This is how they behaved during the truce between the two Chechen wars.

Russian propagandists openly admit that the Russian Federation is actually responsible for both the massive missile strikes on Ukraine and the rapidly growing risks for the bordering countries. The Russian authorities never offered negotiations, but only issued ultimatums. Given today’s losses on the battlefield, Russia is in no position to make any demands.

There is no need to give a pause Russia’s “military machine” and cancel sanctions for a conditional peace, which it will violate later in any case. It will never give up on capturing other people’s territories.

Even today, Moscow shows its criminal character towards Ukrainians. It openly commits the genocide of Ukrainians. It became possible, not least due to the fact that at one time the civilized world, in its majority, was in no hurry to give lethal weapons to Ukraine.

Western partners should provide Ukraine with all the necessary weapons to defeat Russia. The Russian Federation should not take part in peace talks until the Russian army leaves the territory of Ukraine recognized by the international community.

Prompt delivery of the necessary weapons will protect Ukraine from Russian terror and force the aggressor to end the war.
